Delicious is actually an understatement, Japanese food is more than that!

Sophisticated would be the better term! :p

August falls on the summer season and also the Mt. Fuji climbing season. I was so excited about the idea of climbing the mountain since it falls exactly on our scheduled trip. So, I excitedly told my office mate based in Japan that I am joining them in case they decided to go.

Take note that I have never climbed a mountain (properly) before, I only have one sneakers (no trekking/rubber shoes), and the hiking schedule falls exactly after I landed in Narita and I heard that at night, temperature falls below zero and we are planning to trek at night to catch the sunrise and I do not know if a tropical country born person like me can endure such temperature hahaha. And I’m worrying if my other days in Japan will be spared by the effects of this hiking trip since I might succumb to fatigue the day after the climb and stay in the hotel for the rest of the week. Such are the negative thoughts that hinder me from going to Fujisan (and many more unwanted energies that falls in the cons list if I should write it down).  For my friends, I am the least person capable of doing such physical activity. In the end, I decided to let the picture below do the decision making even if the final result is 1 pro (majestic volcano photo) and a million cons.

 Yesterday, we have finally reserved bus seats from Shinjuku to Kawaguchi 5th Station. That was the time that the reality sank in me. During our planning, I was all excited and at the same time nervous. All people who knows me and my lifestyle were shocked at my decision. I tried to walk home from office to test my endurance trying to simulate what might happen on the hiking day. It was fun walking 1 hour from the office to our house. But it was really tiring! Then I finally understood why I shouldn’t go (for now ) Sorry, Mt. Fuji, I don’t want to see you while I’m at this condition. Next time I’ll prepare physically and mentally. I will also equip myself with determination, courage and proper hiking shoes and thermal wear. I know you won’t go away.

So, 2 weeks before the hiking day, I BACKED-OUT. Yes, I’m a fickle-minded quitter like that I’ll just settle myself in mediocre places like Shibuya and Akihabara. haha.

Pyrotechnics, lasers, great band, great choreography, grand costumes -> truly fits Yamapi’s awesomeness that night! I’ve seen many concerts before (mostly western though), this one’s the most impressive! haha So that’s how JE works, superb concert indeed!

Mary Stayed Out All Night is such a disappointment. I was all hopes for this drama but it was a very big disappointment. Boring plot, too much cliches, all fan service! Every episode is a “dead end”! LOL! What happened MSOAN writers?!?

Luckily, I haven’t watched Sungkyunkwan Scandal yet so instead of wasting my time watching the dragging MSOAN, I turned my attention to SKKS. I love SKKS– trendy and historical at the same time. Well, I won’t write recaps here (I’ll leave it to skilled fans, just google haha) but I’ll post this depressing insert song of the drama since I’m a little depressed this 2011, hayyyy since it’s from JYJ haha.. The song really suits JaeJoong’s depressing voice and I’m now turning my back to Jang Geun Suk’s voice until he redeems himself in his next drama!lol! MSOAN’s fault. ^_^

I’ve read from some uncertain posts from fans and critics that this will be the OST of the very much anticipated (anticipated according to me xD) seies of Jang Geun Suk and Moon Geun Young (Geun-Geun 8D). Good job to the composer of this pop-rock song. Loved the distorted guitar intro and JGS’s voice! I never thought KRock exists until this song came.. {^_^}

No more debates on why Jang Geun Suk wears feminine look and girly hairdo in public, on why he’s sooo pretty these days. lol 8P

Evaluating JGS:

JGS is such a show-off, and I super love him for being one hahaha:)

* He can dance the weird tecktonik dance:

* He wears eyeliner better than most girls I know: proof? <insert A.N.JELL pictures here>

* He has a voice quality similar to glam rock singers (he can even pass auditions of  “devil voice dubbers” lol)

* He is not afraid to play with his looks, he knows how to entertain his fans, he’s hyper, he’s a fan of Hyde and he’s a pretty cross-dresser blah blah blah etc etc etc hahaha..

Not all celebrities can pull off feminine fashion as good as he can, although I must admit, there are times when he overdresses in girly stuff, but at the end of the day, he can still leave me wondering (and doubting) on his preferences: “is he gay?, no, i don’t think so”

I’ll conclude this irrelevant JGS evaluation with Yamashita Tomohisa’s single  “One in a Mirrion” because he is one RARE celeb. hahaha..  (Why am I dissing my top 2 favorite celebs?!?@#$!) ~ lol 8D

On another note, I confess that I’m not a fan of Kdramas. The last Kdrama that I proudly *finished* is Full House. lol

What brought me to watch another Kdrama is Kame. Why Kame? After watching his Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, I decided to lie low from Jdramas, .. I love Kame, but imho, the role doesn’t suit him! ♪♪ “Too much of something is bad enough..” ♫ 

So I bought a cheap dvd of  You’re beautiful after I saw the teaser in our local TV. This time, I made sure not to check out my Japanese Drama list.

After the dragging Episode 1, came the joy of watching Episode 2 then 3, 4.. then, I became addicted! Jang Geun-Suk and Park Shin Hye are the best Korean actors I’ve seen. (haha.. OK, I’m now exaggerating here)  At first I thought it was just some cheesy teenybopper korean drama, (well, in some scenes, it is.. hehe) but it exceeded my expectations.

Here are some reasons why I ♥ this K-drama:

1. The Band concept – corny band name, but cool lines between the actors! Credits  to the brilliant writer..

2. Jang Geun-Suk as Hwang Tae Kyung – it’s as if the actor came first before the plot creation.. lol  (Kame, ehem)

3. The OST – pop rock theme is Okay for a drama which targets the teen audience. The voice? reminds me so much of Hyde! The  eyeliner, hairstyles, stage presence — they’re all Hyde’s trademark! — Laruku
